Reese | Kansas City Newborn Photography

Reese and I…we've got history. I photographed her parents engagement session, their wedding and their maternity session. Erin and Brian have such a beautiful love for each other. They both come from tight-knit, loving families and I always knew they would be amazing parents so I was delighted when they asked me to do Reese's newborn portraits. She's an adorable little girl who came into this world with an amazing amount of love waiting for her. Here, she looks just like her beautiful mama… And my absolute favorite… We're shooting Reese's six month pics this afternoon and it wasn't until now that I realized I'd never shared her newborn session. I think I'm even more excited for this one than I was the newborn session, if that's possible. She's sitting up now and you'll just die when you see her wardrobe!  Stay tuned for a sneak peek. Happy Monday! H

And yes, I'm that girl that buys a Christmas gift and gives it three weeks early because I JUST. CAN'T. TAKE. IT. When Carolyn called and asked me to photograph her sister's son as a Mother's Day surprise I was super excited. Carolyn and Christy (along with the rest of their family) are long-time friends of mine and I just adore them all, especially little Brody. He's as cute as they come and he's always so incredibly happy. We had a blast shooting and I'm totally in love with these images!  Apparently, I'm not the only one who can't hold down a surprise. Carolyn (and Christy's husband Phillip) broke down and gave Christy her Mother's Day gift a day early and I couldn't be happier because now I can finally share the images. My absolute favorite…those little hands! Could he be any cuter? Nope, didn't think so. He's totally gonna hate me, but how could I resist those adorable saddlebags? Brody's daddy was in on this covert operation, too. He smuggled clothes out of the house for us and even […]
