Oh, Shoot! A Birthday Wish for Jen

by heathermorrow· November 30, 2010· in Uncategorized· 1 comments
Wishing the most wonderful of birthdays to my dear friend, the beautiful and talented Jennifer Mullinax. These pictures were shot back in September when I got together with Jen and our photographer friends Tracy Routh and Kelly Holder.   Jen told me that just before she left the house to meet up with us her youngest daughter Sophia came to her crying hysterically saying, "Mommy, I don't want you to die. I don't want you to die." Jen was completely puzzled. And then Sophia said, "Mommy, I don't want you to die. I don't want Miss Heather to shoot you."  Apparently, us photographers throw around the term "shoot" a little too loosely for almost four year old little girls. Sophia had heard Jen tell Jared that she was going to dinner us but we were all going to shoot each other first. Such a sweet, little girl. I'd say she gets it from her mama. Happy Birthday, Jen! Love ya!

Little Lola

by heathermorrow· April 17, 2008· in Uncategorized· 0 comments
You can’t seriously expect me to resist the cuteness of Lola, can you?  More to come soon.  I’ve got to get some sleep.  I’ve got a big day ahead of me, but thought everyone could use a little dose of Lola to brighten their day. Until next time, H

A New Trend?

by heathermorrow· April 12, 2008· in Uncategorized· 7 comments
Maybe it’s just me, but I’d say you’ve got to be RIDICULOUSLY good looking and super cool (or just ridiculously INTO YOURSELF) to hire someone to photograph you without you knowing when and where it’s going to happen.  Or maybe I’m just a giant dork and do too many embarrassing things that I wouldn’t want captured.   Screw that whole "capturing only the natural beauty of the person" crap they talk about on their website.    That’s just creepy. Is this going to be a new trend?  What are your thoughts?  Leave a note in the comments section.  I’d love to hear what you think.

Curls, Curls, Curls

by heathermorrow· January 24, 2008· in Uncategorized· 2 comments
I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with these adorable little ones.  It was a bit chilly, but we didn’t let that stop us from having some serious fun.  Meet Emma, who totally ROCKED this adorable hat.  I want one for my girls!  Heck, I want one for ME!  And don’t you just love her curls? And her incredibly sweet baby brother, Calvin, who just stole my heart.  This little snuggle bug was also blessed with some amazing curls!  Look out ladies, I see a heartbreaker in the making! Stay tuned!  Lots of blogging, some very exciting news and even a contest are just around the corner. Until then, keep smiling!H

Eventually…

by heathermorrow· December 20, 2007· in Uncategorized· 2 comments
I do swear that eventually I WILL blog about kids other than these, but OMG can you blame me?  We had so many fun images that I can’t NOT share them with you.  I’d be a bad blogger if I didn’t.  You’ve already met Jackson and Brooklyn, but here are a few more that I loved.  (By the way, mom is my kick ass hair stylist!  And I LOVE THE WOMAN!) Jackson is such a little stud but at the same time he’s as sweet as can be.  Lucee just ADORES him!  You should hear the giggles when those two get together.  And then there are those mile deep dimples…Erin, how do you ever tell him no?  I know I couldn’t.  Brooklyn loves to sit on my lap, hold one of my fingers and snuggle with me.  She’s such a little love bug. She even got a little lady bug love during the shoot. And last, but most definitely not least is their drop-dead gorgeous big sister, Lexi.  My kids think she hung the moon, and I swear she couldn’t take a bad picture if she tried!  Have a great Thursday!  I’m off to do some power shopping with Chris today.  […]

The Human Head Weighs 8 Pounds

by heathermorrow· December 17, 2007· in Uncategorized· 1 comments
During a fall shoot with three of my favorite little cuties one of them found something that turned into a perfect photo opp. And doesn’t he look a little bit like Jonathan Lipnicki from Jerry Maguire?  He’s actually the Big Leaguer in a Little Body from the summer of 2006.  More to come of this little man and his gorgeous sisters.  Stay tuned.  Happy Monday!H

Are You People TRYING to Kill Me?

by heathermorrow· December 15, 2007· in Uncategorized· 1 comments
To quote my friend Kristen, "Be still my screaming uterus."  It’s no secret that I’ve got a mad case of BABY FEVER and this beautiful little lady certainly isn’t helping.  And it should come as no surprise that she’s absolutely gorgeous.  Remember mom?  This is one of the most expressive newborns I’ve ever shot and she had absolutely no intention of sleeping for me.   (Little does she know…) BABY:  I’m NOT gonna sleep.  And YOU can’t make me.  HEATHER:  But Baby, I got SKILLLLLLLZZZ!  And how funny are these!  It’s like she’s saying, "Rats, she got me to sleep!" These are so different from my typical newborn stuff.  I loved the vintage feel of them.  They actually remind me of a few shots of myself as a baby in the 70s. And these are some of the ones we used for her birth announcement.  I just LOVE them! And the Best Baby Holder of 2007 Award goes to………….. First Time Dad/Nominee, Nick.  He totally ROCKED IT! That’s all for now.  It’s about all my uterus can take.  (Did I really just blog about my uterus?) Happy Saturday Night!H
