Finally, One for the Nikon Peeps

by heathermorrow· July 28, 2010· in Industry Gossip, Randomness· 0 comments tags: canon lens coffee mug, nikon lens coffee mug, photography gifts
During the Vancouver Olympic Games, Canon gifted a few lucky ducks with this 70-200mm L series lens that's not really a lens.  It's actually a coffee mug.  And y'all know how much I love my coffee.  How cool is that?  Image credit: Photograph by Josh Weisberg and via PDNPulse It's definitely cool, but wait…it just got a little bit cooler. Yeah, baby!  There's a Nikon version.  It's the Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 ED mug available at 100 milligrams for $23.  While I'd like to have the real thing, I think I'll go for the $23 coffee cup version rather than the $1,700 real lens version.  Unless, of course…someone is in a gifting kinda mood.  Just let me know.  B&H has my address on file.

Seriously. What happened to May?

by heathermorrow· June 09, 2008· in Industry Gossip· 4 comments
If anyone knows where it went, please fill me in.  Did May really even happen?  I feel like it was April, I blinked and it was June.  So, here's just a little bit of what I can remember from the month of May and it's super exciting.  I was featured in 435 South Magazine.  The lovely Cisley Thummel penned the most fabulous story about yours truly and this unbelievably cool job I get to do.  Cisley's gift for writing is so incredible.  Her way with words can truly transport you to another place and time, fill you with emotion and leave you with a crystal clear picture of whatever it is you're reading about.  Thank you Cis, for sharing your gift and for being such a wonderful friend. And because I haven't taken any shots of the magazine yet here are a few (REALLY BAD) scans.  Just click to see them bigger.  (Yep, that's THE MonMac making out with her man.  She's gonna kill me for writing that, but aren't they HOT?) I'm way behind on sneak peeks so stay tuned for lots of images to come, including the lovely Miss Katherine who, along with her beautiful mom (and daddy's […]

meet @haileebwalsh, owner of @citygymkc. she’s a business woman, a trainer, a devoted wife, an adoring auntie, an activist and a champion of so many people and causes. she is never afraid to stand up for what is right, whether it’s easy or not. she doesn’t give up and she doesn’t give in. and in case you hadn’t noticed, she’s built like a brick shit house. and so fun to work with! ⁣

if you’ve never met hailee, follow her online, watch what she’s up to and get to know her. she’s inspiring and always doing big things with big love!
