clearly it’s busy season because i’m way behind on blogging. wait, i’ve been behind on blogging for like a year now. one of these days i’ll catch up. let’s start with class of 2013 senior spokesmodel audrey. her session was so much fun. audrey has one of those contagious smiles. i think i even smiled the whole time i was editing her session.
we started off in the studio. i seriously have to pinch myself sometimes. i got so lucky with this studio. not only do i have incredible studio mates, but the natural light here is just to die for.
after we shot in the studio we headed out for a little urban scenery. i loved audrey’s entire wardrobe, but this was one of my favorite outfits. i love shooting seniors because it really gives me a chance to experiment with fashion. i get so many ideas on what to wear from my senior portrait clients. audrey paired this darling striped dress with a lightweight sweater and a skinny belt and it instantly made a summer dress the perfect transition for fall. audrey made me re-think packing away my summer dresses. instead i’ve kept them in the closet to pair with sweaters, blazers, buttons downs and belts.
i loved this series on the red steps. her flawless complexion with that bold lip was perfect! and isn’t she an anne hathaway look alike in that top left image?
after our urban stop we hit one of my favorite country roads for something a little more rural. another perfectly executed outfit!
i wish i could remember what audrey was laughing about in the shot above. it’s everyone’s favorite – her’s, her mother’s and mine. the guitar, the perfect light, the perfect setting and audrey’s perfect smile.
audrey and tracy, thank you so much for such an amazing afternoon. i absolutely loved working with both of you!
we’re currently booking for spring and summer 2013. there’s still time for class of 2013 seniors to have amazing senior portraits taken. and for the class of 2014, it’s never to early to book your session, too! once spring hits we start booking up super fast. if you’re one of audrey’s friends ask her how you can save money on your own senior portrait session or contact us for details.
happy monday!
