Amidst the stress and chaos of the holiday rush madness I keep reminding myself how fortunate I am to do something I love so much. Four years ago I was an auditor and I made a huge leap of faith to become a photographer. Less than two weeks before I finally decided to quit my full time job I found this exact fortune in my cookie at our favorite Chinese restaurant. I always save my fortunes. I’ve got them tucked away in various purse pockets, desk drawers, wallets…I even have some in a box on my beside table. When it came time to make the decision I stumbled upon this fortune and told Chris I was going for it. It was meant to be. The fortune told me so.
Two years ago I found this necklace made with the exact same fortune that changed my life. So this is me feeling fortunate. :0)
What has you feeling fortunate these days?
