Jane Sellman once said, "The phrase ‘working mother’ is redundant." While I have no idea who the heck she is I’d say she’s about as right as right gets. Mothers have the toughest and most important job in the world.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner I’d like to remind all my moms that there’s no better way to get exactly what you want than to simply pick it out yourself. Let the guys off the hook this year, schedule your photo shoot and pick out your own Mother’s Day gift. New to the product line up this year are canvas prints, the super-cool metallic prints and also a new style of photo jewelry. (Stay tuned to the blog for shots of the new jewerly. It’s amazing!)
To receive your order before Mother’s Day sessions must take place by April 1. As a gift to all of my hard-working moms I’ll give the fifth one to book their session a complimentary manicure from my friends at A PERFECT TEN (OR TWENTY). It’s a mobile nail studio and salon. The service is fabulous and the best part is that you can do it in your pajamas because they come to you!
Share your Mother’s Day gift idea with friends by having a PLAYDATE PAPARAZZI PARTY. The fifth person to book a PLAYDATE PAPARAZZI PARTY will receive both a manicure and a pedicure from A PERFECT TEN (OR TWENTY). (Contact us for more info on the PLAYDATE.)
And speaking of Mother’s Day gifts. My kids gave me a belated Mother’s Day gift last year – one of the best I’ve ever received. I got the sweetest shot of them TOGETHER – which is very rare. It’s an aversion often experienced by children diagnosed with PKS – otherwise known as Photographer’s Kid Syndrome, which is commonly found in children whose mother’s frequently have a camera in their face. Okay, that’s a big industry joke, but it’s so, so true. Other people’s kids are a piece of cake for me, but mine….not so much.
